Sourdough Bread Making - An Introduction (JUST 1 PLACE LEFT)

This is definitely a full hands on artisan bread making course!  It's suitable for beginners as well as 'novice bakers' who want to refine their technique.

A full day learning about the mysteries of artisan bread making with wild yeast sourdough cultures.

Under the expert supervision of master baker Andrew Auld you will try your hand at kneading wet doughs with sourdough baguettes; challenge yourself with a 100% rye sourdough; and bake a loaf of Andrew's special recipe sourdough.

You will take away everything you bake and some of Andrew's sourdough leaven to get you started at home.

The course takes you through the different stages of artisan bread making, different kneading and shaping techniques.  Andrew will share some of his expert baking skills along the way ensuring by the end of the class you will be able to produce some wonderful tasting sourdough bread.  This is a packed full days atisan bread making course so a 'prompt' arrival is advised.

Course Times: 9.30 - 4.30

This course includes refreshments and an informal light lunch.
