Microbrewers - networking (beer tasting & matching)

Ever thought of setting up your own microbrewery?  This unique networking event at Brew-School for prospective microbrewers is both a tutored beer tasting hosted by Alex Barlow, a beer sommelier ( and author of the award winning All Beer Guide) and an opportunity to share thoughts and ideas with prospective microbrewers who plan to set up or have set up their own microbrewery.

Alex, one of the lead tutors on our microbrewery business course, will lead the beer tasting event and it will be an opportunity to see the full diversity of beer styles and flavours and relate this to the ingredients and brewing techniques used.  Each beer will be matched with a food type to illustrate how beer and food flavours interact.

This event is perfect for brewers who wish to explore ideas on microbrewing and setting up their own business, curious foodies and beer fans.

The event starts at 7.00 pm and is held in our converted mill in the heart of Bakewell. The event finishes around 9.30 p.m. with complimentary teas and coffees.
