Artisan pork pie making course
Simon Barnes from award winning farm shop LIberty Foods in Sheffield takes a half day introductory course on how to produce one of the all time British classics - the pork pie. Not only will he show you how to make the unique hot water crust pastry but he will also instruct you how to create a meat filling fit for a king. As well as catering for traditional pork pie lovers Simon reveals how to introduce more modern flavours into the mix such as chilli, coriander and mango chutney to bring your pork pie making right up to date.
Course Times: 11:00 am - 3.00 pm
This course includes refreshments and a light lunch including a tasting of Simon's unique pork pies.
